Beeston Hill United Free Church is an ecumenical partnership church with Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed roots formed when four churches came together some 30 years ago. 'United' and 'Free' describes the church well, with an age range of 0-90. The church seeks to offer an informal, open and varied style of worship, with a warm welcome for anyone who would happen to wander in off the street. Prayer and fellowship play an important part in worship and the daily life of church members.

The church has a membership of around 70, with an average Sunday gathering of around 40. The average age of the congregation is probably around 50. The J4J (Juniors 4 Jesus) group which meets during the morning service attracts up to a dozen 3-10 year olds. The church family attratcs a growing multi-ethnic population, including a number of asylum seekers, with some young families and also the elderly who are house bound or in care homes.
