My friends, have you noticed that when God is using us to make a difference in the work of the Kingdom, that’s when Satan, the accuser, begins to mess with our minds by reminding us of our past failures. Why? For the purpose of rendering us ineffective! It is during these times that we must remember the power in the Blood of Jesus that covers the multitude of our sins.

We must not just admire the love of Jesus that led Him to shed His Precious Blood for us on the cross, but we must EXPERIENCE His love by accepting the gift of:

  • Salvation – This means knowing that salvation is found in no one else other than Jesus (Acts 4:12). This gift is given to us by grace and mercy not because we have earned it and as such, we must not complicate the gift. Be on guard, since we have the tendency to complicate things by trying to gain our salvation through our works.
  • Freedom – This means when we have made the choice to serve God and ask Him for the forgiveness of our sins, we must live a disciplined life. We daily and intentionally (through prayer) stay away from questionable lifestyles that will taint our testimony for Him (Romans 6:6-7).
  • Discipleship – Think about a time when you gave someone a gift and it was not put to good use. Accepting the gift of discipleship through the Blood of Jesus means that we also share the Good News with others, so they too can come, taste and see that the Lord is good (Matthew 28:19-20).

Christ follower, accept, rejoice and enjoy the power in the Blood of Jesus made available to you. If you are currently not a Christ follower, come and experience the redemptive power in the Blood of Jesus today!

All glory to God!
