My friends, there is a lot to be said for waiting on the Lord as we journey through life.  As children of God, we are comforted with the knowledge that God is for us not against us and He journeys with us whether we know it or not in every situation, circumstance and event we find ourselves.

The benefits are outlined for us in (Isaiah 40:31). I encourage you to meditate on this during your Bible study this week.

The following benefits of waiting on God, will inspire us to face whatever life presents us:

  • Benefit of renewed strength from God – I don’t know about you, there are times that I just struggle emotionally, physically and spiritually and in this crucial time, the only place I draw strength from is in God’s word, in praise and thanksgiving.
  • Benefit of a renewed attitude like that of an Eagle – Eagles have incredible vision and fly at a high altitude. Applying this to our lives means as we wait on the Lord, we can start to see Him work in our lives with the eyes of faith.
  • Benefit of not growing tired or faint – Sometimes in the midst of our waiting, we struggle to keep a positive attitude but we can be comforted knowing that God will give us the peace and rest we need to keep waiting until our breakthrough comes.

Christ follower, God will continue to sustain you as you wait on Him In Jesus Name. Amen. If you are currently not a Christ follower, don’t wait another day to enjoy these benefits – come.

All glory to God!
