The team at Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer are recruiting volunteers for a joint initiative with Müllers, gathering 1,000 answered prayers from the George Müller archives. They'd love to invite people from the Leeds area to take part.

Role: Müllers Archive Heritage Researcher

Role type: Voluntary Time commitment: 1/2 day (4 hours) a week (flexible)

Base: Remote (digital archive) or at the Müllers archive in Bristol (physical archive)

Team: Answered Prayer Manager: Head of Heritage Answered Prayer Collection (Eternal Wall, Emma Hodges); with input from Ellie Manley (Müllers, Museum Coordinator)

This is a joint initiative between Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer and Müllers, to compile an archive of 1,000 answered prayers from the writings of George Müller. We are recruiting a team of 4 online researchers, and 2 people to visit the physical George Müller archives in Bristol. You will capture answered prayers that will be featured in Eternal Wall’s answered prayer database and on the Eternal Wall landmark itself, while creating a valuable resource for Müllers as part of their Bristol exhibition.

You will be part of Eternal Wall’s answered prayer team, who are growing a database of answered prayers, with the aim of reaching 200,000 by the time the landmark opens in early 2026. The role’s duties/opportunities include:

● Identifying answered prayers in books and historic texts (digital/physical)

● Logging answered prayers in a logical way in a Google doc

● Visiting the archives at Müllers in Bristol for those local to the museum Training: As part of the role, you will be given basic training in archives work by Müllers

Desired skills:

● Attention to detail, particularly whilst reading

● Basic ability in administration/organizing information

Beneficial skills:

● Research experience

● Ability to drive/travel if intending to access the physical Müllers archive Opportunities:

● As part of the Eternal Wall team, you will occasionally be invited to team events and gatherings, and will have the opportunity to join us for visits to the land during the construction of the landmark.

● For those local to Müllers, you will be invited to museum team gatherings as well as receiving invitations to experience the wider George Müller collection.
