“We believe that the children are the community changers and nation shakers. Our job is to help them shine.”

Is this statement something you find yourself nodding along with?  Are you wanting to join with a passionate, fun, caring team? Can you imagine every child reaching their full potential – do you see yourself as being part of that adventure? Could you be our maternity cover for our West Leeds/Bramley Community Pastoral Worker?

Well...

We are recruiting! An exciting vacancy has become available to cover maternity leave at this key time for our children as we emerge from the pandemic.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, compassionate individual who is passionate about engaging children to cover a maternity position through our work in West Leeds. This is a fixed term position to cover maternity with a possibility to apply for alternative roles on completion. You will be a safe and constant presence in their life, whether that’s through running after school activities, carrying out home visiting rounds, schools work and some family support work.  In all these areas you will be cheering them on, injecting a lot of fun along the way.

Kidz Klub Leeds is a registered Charity (1194238) working with 4-11 year olds in inner city areas. We have been running for 21 years. Our vision is to work together with congregations across the city to reach out to see lasting transformation, through the love of God, for the most marginalised and vulnerable children, their families and communities of Leeds.

Come and join us, you won’t regret it!

19 hours per week. This will include 3 late afternoons/evenings.

Start Date:To be agreed.

(This role could be combined with other roles currently being advertised at Kidz Klub)
