We are looking to appoint an Operations Manager to plan, direct/coordinate the administrative and business (non-ministerial) operations of the Bridge Community Church.  The Church is lively and ethnically diverse and has been based in the centre of Leeds serving the local community for nearly 100 years.  

Bridge Community Church operates from its modern site which covers an area of approx. 5 acres and has two main buildings with 4.6k sqm floor space, a large car park and sports areas.

Applicants must have a strong church background and previous experience at managing other operations of medium to large sized organisations, be an excellent communicator, motivator, and team leader with good people and process management skills. They will manage a large team covering the administrative, financial and commercial activities of the church as well as having responsibility for the care and security of the premises.

This is a high-profile role as the successful person will liaise closely with ministers, departmental heads, volunteers and external clients alike and seek to maintain and develop strong supplier relationships.

Hours: Full time, 36.50hrs

Contract: Permanent
