Hours: Part time, 21.00hrs

Contract: Permanent

Starting salary: £31,364 pro rata (NJC pay scale, point 22)

Responsible to:  Chair of CCACP

Hours: 21 hours per week. Mondays on site for the Drop-In for the whole day. Remaining hours can be worked flexibly consistent with the needs of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a long-established and highly valued service for asylum seekers and refugees.

You will be responsible for organising and leading the effective and safe running of our weekly drop-ins creating a space where people from different backgrounds experience a sense of community, belonging, loving friendship and acceptance which embraces religious and cultural diversity.

 You will lead on the delivery of the project’s strategic goals, adjusting to the ever-changing climate for refugees and asylum seekers. This will involve working closely and collaboratively with other refugee agencies, community groups, and statutory sector services. You will have a key role in exploring and securing funding for the project. Whilst this is challenging, we are a well-respected service and have been a going concern for over 20 years.

You will manage, motivate, and coordinate a small staff team as well as our fabulous team of dedicated volunteers.
