We are looking for a cleaning team member based at our busy Headingley Site (Kirkstall Lane, Headingley, Leeds, LS6 3LF) which has a parent and toddler group who meet twice a week in term time, a community café that runs throughout the year and is operates Monday - Wednesday. There are various church activities taking place across all three sites throughout the week and also regular hire of the premises. All of this makes for an exciting and vibrant place to work and worship.

Working times are normally afternoons Monday – Friday and some flexibility on start and finish times will be needed from the applicants as well as a willingness occasional Saturdays. The post reports to the Buildings Manager, who is responsible for day-to-day supervision of the Cleaning Team.

Essential: previous cleaning experience, effective team worker, evidence of attention to detail, willingness to work flexibly within agreed hours, physical ability to complete cleaning duties including lifting.

Desirable: relevant previous experience of commercial cleaning, an understanding of the values of the church, as a faith organisation, as it affects the use of the buildings and a good understanding of health and hygiene standards.
