Church Network Coordinator
- Spring Harvest - HarrogateView all jobs
Spring Harvest has been successfully running Easter breaks for over 40 years in many different towns across the United Kingdom. Today the Essential Christian management team run three Easter breaks in Skegness, Minehead and Harrogate. These events are possibly the most denominationally diverse, bringing together Christians from different liturgical and charismatic backgrounds from all across the UK. Two of the events meet at Butlin’s sites offering a whole range of family holiday activities, whereas the Harrogate event meets at the Harrogate Convention Centre making the most of a beautiful town setting and different accommodation options.
Essential Christian is looking for a motivated individual, with good people and presentation skills, to develop relations in and amongst the churches in the north of the UK, including Scotland and Northern Ireland, to promote and develop Spring Harvest, with a special focus on generating interest in our Harrogate event.
This role will involve a passion for seeking out and building a database of new relationships whilst also developing current relationships. Good administration, organisation and communication skills (phone, email etc), a high attention to detail and a good deal of self-determination are key to this role. You may also be required to present the ‘heart’ of the event to large gatherings, so confident and clear presentation skills would be an advantage.
This is a salaried post, provided on a one-year fixed-term contract. Applications will be considered for full or part-time hours. The successful applicant will be based in the North of the UK and will work from home, or in a shared office space identified by Essential Christian in the North of England. Occasional visits to the essential Christian offices based in Uckfield, East Sussex will also be required for development and team meetings. The applicant will also be required to attend the Harrogate event annually and take an active role within the Spring Harvest team and any other local events deemed necessary to the role.
If you have a working understanding of the UK church network, and have been to or have good knowledge of Spring Harvest across the UK, we would like to hear from you.
