We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Church Activities Organiser on a part time basis, to develop a range of stimulating activities across different age groups within the Methodist Churches in Bramhope, Guiseley & Yeadon.

The postholder will work with the minister and another lay worker in a ministry team of three people, supporting one another in the shared work, engaging with groups under-represented in the church congregations.

The post will be for 15 hours per week worked flexibly on a maximum of 3 days per week mutually agreed with the Line Manager.

The rate of pay will be £11.60 per hour, with the option to enrol in the Circuit’s NEST Pension Scheme.

As an occupational requirement, we are looking for someone who is a practising Christian, committed to their own faith and to growing faith in others of all ages.

The post is for a fixed term of 3 years and is subject to obtaining a satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) disclosure.
