Do you want to play a leading role in a new service for people facing crippling household debts in the Wharfedale & Aireborough area?

The Wharfedale & Aireborough Methodist Circuit has entered into partnership with the national charity Christians Against Poverty and is looking for an enthusiastic Christian to manage this service.

The manager needs to be a good organiser and passionate about helping people in need.

Full training and support provided.

Work from home or church office; laptop & mobile phone provided; own car required, mileage costs reimbursed.

As a partnership appointment, following the Circuit interviews, the successful candidate will be recommended to CAP for follow-up interview and appointment.

The post is subject to obtaining a satisfactory DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)

There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the successful applicant will be a practising Christian.

The Circuit expects this to be a paid appointment but anyone wishing to fulfil the role as a volunteer (paid expenses only) can apply at the same time as other applicants.

Hours: Part time, 16 hours per weekhrs

Contract: Permanent

Starting salary: £8,985
