Refresh Carers define parent carers to be parents of disabled children and adults and also parents of children and adults with long-term health conditions. Our courses will be open to all parent carers as long as they want to achieve a goal such as pursuing a hobby, volunteering or paid work.

Refresh Carers have ambitions to change the world for parent carers, we will put the parent carers personal development needs at the centre of our work.

The starting point will be empowering them for positive change in their lives by working with them to assess their personal needs and set achievable goals with them. We will support them to achieve their goals through one-to-one work and group work sessions.

We aim to promote the work of Refresh Carers through networking with statutory agencies, third sector organisations, parent carer groups and other stakeholders.

In order to inform as widely as possible our offer and to get referrals for our courses. Network with Local authorities, third sector organisations, NHS, DWP and private businesses to source links to hobbies, volunteering and paid employment.
