Hope for the Nations Open Evening

Greetings to everyone!

Please find attached a report of the recent HFTN Open Evening. Apologies for this being a little late.

Thank you so much to all of you who came  and to those who helped in any way to make it a great success.

A lot of effort went into the gathering and this was appreciated very much.

For those of you who were unable to come we hope the report gives you a flavour of the evening and we would encourage you to come along to the other events being organised this year:

Global Day of Prayer 23rd May  6.30pm New Testament Church of God

Hope for the Nations in Briggate  3rd July 12noon -4pm

As mentioned in the report we are hoping to have a major consultation some time in September which will address the particular challenges for international congregations engaging in mission in post-modern British culture. If any of you have any thoughts about this or would like to see particular issues discussed please let me know. This will be a consultation rather than speaker led.

We are also hoping to produce a comprehensive booklet by the end of the year which will identify all the different international congregations in Leeds together with information about projects they are engaged in and their vision. This should help us all to understand what is being done and help us to find new ways of working together in the future.

What a privilege it is to share good news with the people of Leeds

Paul and the planning team
